Spring Musical:

"The Drowsy Chaperone"

​

​

Auditioning for "The Drowsy Chaperone" is a multi part process beyond the paperwork. Please make certain to sign up for 1 slot on each day for January 20, 21, and 24th. If you do not you will miss one of the audition categories (vocal, dance, acting) which may affect our ability to cast you.

​

Choreography Audition January 20th-You will be taught part of a routine to be used in the show. This will be used to gauge how well you pick up pieces.

​

Vocal Audition January 21st - Choose a 16 bar cutting of a song that is appropriate for your voice and this show. If you need assistance please see our vocal director Amanda Ku (Aku@cuhsd.org). Do not choose a song from "The Drowsy Chaperone"

​

Acting Audition January 24th- Cold reading from the script to see how you perform as different characters.

​

Please note if you audition for both shows you will not be allowed to drop from any parts you receive. This means if you are cast in "Of Mice & Men" you will not be cast in "The Drowsy Chaperone"
