Course Descriptions

 

Leigh High School's theatre class is a hands-on course that teaches and expands on theater skills. Students will have opportunities to learn new performance techniques and terminology, as well as have opportunities to create their own scenes to perform. Students will also learn how to have a strong audition, and by the end of their theatre journey will have the materials to create a portfolio, complete with a headshot and resume.

Advanced Theatre (Theatre 2-3)

Advanced students will revisit and refine earlier learned techniques, as well as being introduced to new ones, and be given some beginning directorial duties.

Theatre Honors (Theatre 4H)

​

Honors students will continue to will revisit and refine earlier learned techniques as well as be responsible for their honors project and bigger directorial responsibilities.
